It’s been a while since I painted one of these scrawny things, so I dug one out and tried a really vibrant purple to orange gradiant on her. It turned out better than I’d hoped, and I’m particularly happy with the NMM blade on her sword. She’ll make an appearance on eBay this evening. 
This mini is the Games Day 2008 Limited Edition figure. I wasn’t sure what Chapter to paint him in, and finally decided that good old Ultra Marines would work.

Well, Round 4 of the Wyrd Iron Painter competition was the end of the road for me, having suffered a defeat to Darklord. It was nice to make to the semi-finals a second time in a row, though the finals would have been better.
Here’s the piece I entered for the theme “Dirty Laundry”. It’s called “The Butcher’s Wife”, and is a heavily rescuplted Ogre Kingdoms model.
